It's always hard to know what to do with your class those last few days of term. So, I decided to get the children to make their own Summer '21 folders. They had SO much fun filling them with different summer activities. From colour by numbers to word search, artwork to sun safety.
All they needed to get started was a piece of A4 sugar paper for the cover and a Summer 21 label, which they loved decorating. We made a piece of sandcastle artwork to go on the front.
We learnt about the life cycle of a sunflower and, after learning about Vincent Van Gogh, made our own sunflower paintings.
All of which went inside the folder.
The children loved adding bits to their folders and working on them over the next few days.
I sent them home with activities to complete over the summer and templates for them to record their holiday memories.
