Remembrance Day

This Thursday is Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day was first observed in 1919. It was originally called Armistice Day to mark the ending of World War 1 on Monday November 11th at 11am. Today it is also used as a time to remember all members of the armed forces who have lost their lives protecting others.
