This week I am having a whole day of art in year 2. Have you looked at the work of Paul Klee? He is a fantastic artist to look at with young children. His paintings are so colourful and involve simple shapes that make them easy for children to replicate. I always start the day looking at his painting 'Ancient Harmony'.
We then use water colours and try the 100 colour challenge - can you mix 100 different colours? It's not easy! But great fun!

We then look at the life and works of Paul Klee and finish up using pastels to make a version of
'Cat and Bird'.
