So, as well as being obsessed by dogs, I am also a little obsessed with pizza boxes! yes, you heard right! I first discovered these little gems on pinterest a few years ago when I was teaching year 3. I was teaching a unit on Europe and whilst skimming through the wonders of pinterest I came across a map of Italy in a pizza box! I just HAD to do it! The kids LOVED it! and they learnt so much! They had to make the mountain ranges, volcanoes, rivers etc. It was brilliant! Last year I made the River Thames in year 5. They made flags to label physical and human features. This year, also in year 5, (and once again thank you pinterest) I made the River Nile salt dough map. #Ancientegyptactivities #KS2ancientegypt #saltdoughmaps
